Lens Technology

Lucid Rx brings fifteen years of optical innovation to everyday prescription eyewear. With premium ZEISS coatings, the lenses resist scratches, clean easily, minimize blue light, and provide complete UV protection while maintaining sharp, comfortable vision.

Features include enhanced cleanability via ZEISS CleanGuard™, scratch resistance, substantially lower blue light reflectance, improved glare reduction and contrast, and full UV defense. Lucid Rx fits seamlessly into design forward frames built for comfort and durability in every environment, whether in low light, driving, flying, indoors, or outside.

Lucid Clear Intelligence plus minus

Lucid Rx delivers crystal clear vision even in challenging light: substantially reduced reflections at dusk or under glare, minimal residual distortions, and a level of sharpness that feels like more than just prescription. Experience enhanced contrast and depth that make details pop, whether working indoors, driving, or flying.

Lucid Rx plus ZEISS Lens Technology plus minus

Built with ZEISS CleanGuard™ technology, Lucid Rx lenses clean up to three times faster than earlier coatings, repel water and oil, and resist smudges, dust, and dirt. With an industry-leading Bayer ratio of 16 for scratch resistance plus full UV defense, these lenses are designed for durability and long-lasting performance.

Frame Technology

Designed for flexibility, durability, and longevity, Method Seven Pilot eyewear won't break your headset seal, ensuring you never miss a radio call. Timeless style meets endless comfort, without interruption. Developed and tested with real pilots across various professional and general aviation aircraft and cockpit configurations.

The Aviatrix plus minus

Titanium, with no-tangle nose pieces and classic aviator styling - this was designed for women pilots - it's a strong, beautiful, and classic aviator. At 17 grams (about the weight of an AA battery). Proven by some of the best pilots in the world - Vicky Benzing among them, who trusts this frame while setting records at the Reno Air Races. It's a slim frame that also works well for men with slim faces. It fits great under a helmet, is headset-compatible - and looks so sharp.

Titanium Frame Technology plus minus

Our titanium frames are hand-tooled by expert craftsmen, ensuring durability for everyday use and flexibility to conform to your head's shape. Titanium is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to corrosion, making these frames a great investment in essential flight gear that will last for years to come.

Vicky Benzing

Method Seven lenses provide unsurpassed clarity and contrast which are critical for me to perform my best–whether I'm flying 10 feet off the ground or racing at 496.831 mph. I will not race and I will not fly without my Method Sevens.

Vicky Benzing is a talented aerobatic airshow pilot and the fastest woman in air racing. She has competed in both the Jet and Sport classes at the National Championship Air Races in Reno and will make history this year as the second woman to race in the Unlimited class.

Vicky earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry at UC Berkeley while obtaining her private pilot certificate. Despite a success in tech, her passion for flying became a second career.

With over 8,000 flight hours and 1,200 parachute jumps, she holds an airline transport pilot rating and commercial ratings in helicopters, seaplanes, and gliders. She began serious aerobatic training in 2005, competing and performing in over 200 airshows, including EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI.
