Great eyewear should last for years. When it's time for a replacement or you're ready for something new, we're here to help.
Our Trade In & Trade Up Program makes it easy to replace or upgrade your eyewear.

Trade In or Trade Up:

Trade in your Method Seven eyewear in any condition, no questions asked, and receive 50% store credit based on the amount paid for your original order toward a new pair of Method Seven eyewear.* Your store credit can be applied toward any current Method Seven eyewear product. Your original eyewear must be returned to Method Seven to receive Trade In or Trade Up credit. If you've previously used the Trade In or Trade Up Program on the same pair, any future store credit will be based on the most recent amount paid.

*Prescription eyewear is not eligible.

Example: You purchase a pair for $275. When you trade them in, you'll receive $137.50 in store credit toward a new pair. You use your $137.50 store credit to purchase another pair and pay the remaining balance. If you later trade in the replacement pair, your next store credit will be based on the amount you paid for that most recent purchase.

This program also covers lost and stolen eyewear within one year of the original purchase:

If your non-prescription Method Seven sunglasses are lost or stolen within one year of the original purchase date, you may replace them one time with the same model (SKU) using 50% store credit based on the amount paid for your original order. If the original color is no longer available, you may choose another available color of the same model. If the model has been discontinued, we'll offer the closest current equivalent.

*Prescription eyewear is not eligible.

Example: You purchase a pair for $275 and lose them six months later. You'll receive $137.50 in store credit toward a replacement of the same model.

Proof of purchase is required. Eligible purchases include MethodSeven.com, the official Method Seven Amazon store, and authorized Method Seven dealers. Purchases from unauthorized resellers or third-party marketplaces are not eligible. If you do not have proof of purchase or have questions about your eligibility, please contact Method Seven Customer Service.

Return to Service:

Not every pair needs to be replaced. We offer affordable options to keep your eyewear in service whenever possible, including:

  • Replacement lenses for $50 each
  • Replacement frames for $75 each
  • Replacement nose pads and other small parts (low cost or free of charge)

Don't want to repair it yourself, you can still send it in for repairs and adjustments!

Terms & Conditions

Trade-In Terms:
  • Original purchaser only.
  • Proof of purchase from MethodSeven.com, the official Method Seven Amazon store, or an authorized Method Seven dealer is required.
  • Original eyewear must be returned to Method Seven.
  • Store credit applies only toward the same product (SKU).
  • If you've previously used the Trade-In or Trade-Up Program on the same pair, any future store credit will be based on the most recent amount paid.
  • Prescription eyewear is not eligible.
  • Prescription lens charges are not included and will be priced separately when applicable.
  • Store credit may not be applied toward replacement parts, replacement frames, replacement lenses, repairs, service fees, shipping, taxes, or gift cards.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
  • Method Seven reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.
Trade-Up Terms:
  • Original purchaser only.

  • Original eyewear must be returned to Method Seven.
  • Store credit is based on the amount paid for the product being traded in, not the product being purchased.
  • Store credit may be applied toward any complete Method Seven eyewear product, including prescription options on Rx-compatible frames.
  • Store credit may not be used toward replacement lenses, replacement frames, replacement parts, repairs, service fees, shipping, taxes, or gift cards.
  • If the value of the store credit exceeds the purchase price of the new product, the remaining balance is forfeited. Store credit has no cash value and will not be refunded.
  • Store credit is non-transferable and may only be used for a single transaction.
  • Prescription eyewear is not eligible.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
  • Method Seven reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.
Lost & Stolen Terms:
  • Valid for one replacement within one year of the original purchase date.
  • Non-prescription products only.
  • Original purchaser only.
  • Proof of purchase from MethodSeven.com, the official Method Seven Amazon store, or an authorized Method Seven dealer is required.
  • Replacement applies to the same product (SKU) only.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or third-party marketplaces are not eligible.
  • Method Seven reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.
Proof of Purchase:

Proof of purchase is required for all Trade-In, Trade-Up, and Lost & Stolen requests.
Accepted proof of purchase includes:

  • Order confirmation or receipt from MethodSeven.com
  • Order confirmation or receipt from the official Method Seven Amazon store
  • Receipt or invoice from an authorized Method Seven dealer
  • Gift receipt or other documentation that verifies the original purchase

If you are unsure whether your retailer is an authorized Method Seven dealer, please contact us before submitting your request. Products purchased from unauthorized retailers, auction sites, liquidation sales, or third-party marketplaces (including eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and similar resale platforms) are not eligible. If you do not have proof of purchase or have questions about your eligibility, please contact Method Seven Customer Service. Method Seven reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify eligibility.

I don't have my receipt or proof of purchase. What can I do?
Contact Method Seven Customer Service. We'll do our best to help. In some cases, we may be able to verify your eligibility or request additional information. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Can I trade in more than one pair?
Yes. Each eligible pair may be traded in separately and must meet the program requirements.

Can I combine Trade-Up credit with a sale or promotional discount?
No. Trade-In and Trade-Up offers cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise stated.

Can someone else use my Trade-Up credit?
No. Trade-In and Trade-Up benefits are available only to the original purchaser.

Can I use Trade-Up credit toward prescription eyewear?
Yes. While prescription eyewear is not eligible to receive Trade-In or Trade-Up credit, you may use Trade-Up credit earned from eligible non-prescription Method Seven eyewear toward the purchase of prescription options on an Rx-compatible frame.
Example: If you purchased an Ascent FLT18 and later need reading glasses or prescription lenses, you can trade in your non-prescription Ascent FLT18 and apply your Trade-Up credit toward a new prescription Ascent.
