Is Your Favorite Pair of Method Seven Eyewear Less Than Perfect?
Around here, we have one simple rule: If they're not on your face, they should be in the case.
Of course, life happens. Screws loosen. Nose pads wear out. Lenses get scratched. Frames get dropped, sat on and tossed into flight bags.
That's where we come in.
From our lifetime warranty against factory defects to complimentary tune ups, repairs and our Trade In & Trade Up Program, we're here to help you get the most out of your Method Seven eyewear.
Why We Take Customer Care Personally
Method Seven is a small, independent eyewear company based in Santa Cruz, California.
Our eyewear is developed in house by our small team and made in small batches. Our titanium frames are hand tooled one at a time by some of the best titanium craftsmen in the world.
We put a lot of care into making your eyewear. We think you should get that same level of care after you buy them.
That's why our relationship with you doesn't end when your order ships. We want to help you keep your Method Sevens in service for as long as possible.
A Lifetime Warranty Means We Stand Behind What We Make
Our standard Method Seven products are backed by a lifetime warranty against factory defects.
If you believe your eyewear has a defect in materials or workmanship, contact our Customer Service team. We'll review the issue and help you through the warranty process. Qualifying defective products can be repaired or replaced at no cost under the terms of our warranty.
Custom products, including prescription eyewear, are covered by a two year limited warranty. Contact Customer Service for details about your specific product.
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, accidental damage, improper care or damage that happens through use.
Not sure which category your problem falls into? You don't need to diagnose it yourself.
Contact Method Seven Customer Service, tell us what's going on and we'll help you figure out the next step.
Complimentary Tune Ups: Send Your Method Sevens Home for a Little TLC
A lot of customers don't realize we do this.
You can send your Method Seven eyewear back to us for a complimentary tune up and cleaning.
Your glasses don't have to be broken. Maybe something feels loose. Maybe your nose pads or temple sleeves have seen better days. Maybe you've worn the same pair for years and they could simply use a little attention.
Send them home to us.
We'll inspect your eyewear, clean them thoroughly, tune them up and replace many of the small components that naturally wear over time.
Many common repairs are complimentary, including:
-
Temple sleeves
-
Nose pads
-
Screws
-
Washers
You cover the postage to get your eyewear to us. We'll take care of the standard tune up and cleaning.
Start by contacting Customer Service and letting us know what your glasses need. Once they arrive, most tune ups and repairs are completed and returned within approximately one to two weeks once received.
Your glasses take care of your eyes. Every once in a while, we're happy to take care of your glasses.
Repair What You Have
We don't want you to replace an entire pair of glasses when a repair will do.
If your frame is still in good shape but you've damaged a lens, we can replace the lens. If your lenses are still good but your frame has taken a beating, we may be able to replace the frame.
For eligible Method Seven eyewear, our current repair options are:
One replacement lens: $50
Two replacement lenses: $100
Replacement frame using your existing lenses: $75
Because our products use different materials and components, not every repair is possible for every model. Contact Customer Service first and tell us what you have and what happened.
We'll help you determine whether they can be repaired and what makes the most sense.
When It's Finally Time, Trade 'em In or Trade 'em Up
Our customers actually use their Method Sevens. They live in cockpits, flight bags, grow rooms, vehicles, workshops and backpacks. Eventually, even a favorite pair may reach the point where a tune up or repair is no longer the right answer.
That's where our Trade In & Trade Up Program comes in.
If your Method Seven eyewear has reached the end of its useful life because of damage or normal wear and tear, you can return them and receive 50% of the value of your original transaction in store credit toward your next purchase.
You don't have to buy the same make or model.
Love exactly what you had? Replace it.
Want to try a different frame, lens or Method Seven product? Trade up.
Your store credit can be used when you're ready for your next eligible purchase.
To get started, contact Method Seven Customer Service. Tell us what you're sending back, what's going on with them and that you'd like to use the Trade In & Trade Up Program.
We'll take it from there.
White Glove Service From People Who Actually Know Your Eyewear
When we say white glove customer service, we mean actual people who know our products.
Our Customer Service team and warehouse are both in Santa Cruz. We're a small team, and the people helping you are the same people who work with Method Seven eyewear every day and many of the same faces you'll see at our booths at trade shows.
When you contact Method Seven, you're talking to Method Seven.
You're not being passed through a generic support system or trying to explain a specialized piece of eyewear to someone who has never seen it. You're talking to someone who will listen, understand what you have and help find a practical solution.
You don't even need to know what kind of service you need.
Just tell us what's wrong. We'll figure it out with you.
That's our idea of white glove service.
Want to Handle a Simple Repair Yourself? Replacement Parts Are Coming.
Sometimes you don't need to send your glasses to Santa Cruz.
Sometimes you just need a screw.
We're working on making that easier too.
Self-service replacement parts for Method Seven aviation eyewear will soon be available on MethodSeven.com, including:
-
Screws
-
Washers
-
Nose pads
-
Temple sleeves
That section of the website is currently under construction.
Once it's live, you'll be able to handle some of the easy maintenance yourself. And if you'd rather send your glasses to us and have us do it, that's always an option.
An Investment Worth Taking Care Of
Method Seven eyewear costs more than an ordinary pair of sunglasses because they aren't ordinary eyewear.
We develop our products in house, make them in small batches and use specialized lenses and materials for people who depend on their eyewear in demanding environments.
They're an investment, and they're worth taking care of.
Sometimes the best new pair of Method Sevens is the pair you already own.
If a tune up, replacement part or repair can put them back into service, start there. If they've finally reached the end of their useful life, we'll help you trade them in or trade them up.
And if you aren't sure what you need, just ask us.
We put a lot of care into making Method Seven eyewear. We'll put the same care into helping you keep it.
And remember: if they're not on your face, they should be in the case.
