Lens Technology

Not all sunlight needs to be treated the same. Method Seven uses spectral filtering and polarization to manage distracting light while preserving useful visual information. Life sunglasses are designed to reduce glare and maintain natural-looking color and contrast in everyday outdoor conditions. It's a more deliberate approach to optics than simply making lenses darker.

Lucid Rx is Method Seven's clear prescription lens technology, engineered for sharp, comfortable vision without a sunglass tint. Frame Technology

Method Seven Pilot frames are engineered for the specific demands of aviation, combining lightweight materials, flexibility, durability, and a secure fit. Our headset-compatible designs feature ultra-thin temples that minimize pressure, help maintain headset seals, and reduce interference with flight helmets and oxygen equipment. Developed and tested with professional and general aviation pilots, each frame is purpose-built for comfort, stability, and clear communication during flight.

The Evolution combines classic square-frame styling with lightweight TR90 construction and Italian craftsmanship. Concealed flex hinges allow the frame to accommodate a variety of face shapes, including wider profiles, while the smooth, polished finish provides a comfortable fit for everyday wear. The Evolution is not designed for use with aviation headsets or flight helmets.
