Lens Technology

Method Seven grow room optics are designed using notch filtering technology to precisely block specific wavelengths of light to achieve color balance for each type of grow light. Then we trick them out using many different types of coatings across the various lens spectrums. A few examples include resin repel, anti-reflective, anti-fog, and petrol mirror for the absolute best clarity and durability.

Resin Repel plus minus

An industrial grade anti-fog and anti-stick coating that is applied to both sides of the lens. Not only does it protect the other coatings underneath it also makes wiping sticky resin off the lenses a breeze. The coating was initially developed for The Navy Seals. We tweaked it to resist resin, which, understandably, isn't something the Navy was concerned about. LOL. True story.

FX RX Lens Technology plus minus

Our FX technology is custom-formulated with your prescription for working under full spectrum LED grow lights - amazing. The results are so good that you will want to wear them outside the grow room - which is fine as the FX tech works great under sunlight or with CMH lights. Our FX RX is our original formulation. It's safe and effective under all full-spectrum LED lights. It does NOT feature our resin repel coating - because that is done in Europe at our Zeiss Labs, and this lens is custom-made in the USA. But still - it will be the best RX experience you've ever had. Promise.

Frame Technology

Our Grow frames are designed in California and made in Italy with thermo-injected TR90 polymers. These materials can withstand the heat and professional rigors of the home basement grow or the biggest commercial facilities.

TR90 Frame Technology plus minus

Injected thermoplastic technology - the lightest, strongest way to make a sports or performance frame. If it's not titanium, it better be TR90.

Absolutely perfect

"First, I'll start with this: Having prescription sunglasses for the grow makes a HUGE difference. I can see clearly without the lights straining my eyes which allows me to work faster and I'm more productive. Second, of course I had to test them during a harvest. My glasses are always caked with plant matter after harvesting flower; it's inevitable. I used the cloth pouch that came with the glasses to clean them after our busiest harvest day and the resin wiped away no problem, to my surprise. My glasses felt like new again and ready for the next task. These things are a GODSEND. I love them and my eyes are super happy :]"
