Lens Technology

Method Seven grow room optics are designed using notch filtering technology to precisely block specific wavelengths of light to achieve color balance for each type of grow light. Then we trick them out using many different types of coatings across the various lens spectrums. A few examples include resin repel, anti-reflective, anti-fog, and petrol mirror for the absolute best clarity and durability.

HPS Lens Technology plus minus

Designed for the intense yellow spectrum of High Pressure Sodium lights we use unique notch filtering technology to strip away the peaks of red & yellow in the 660nm range and balance the other wavelengths evenly. This provides an unmistakable experience of perfectly balanced color and comfort, with full UV protection under these incredibly yellow and hot lights.

Frame Technology

Our Grow frames are designed in California and made in Italy with thermo-injected TR90 polymers. These materials can withstand the heat and professional rigors of the home basement grow or the biggest commercial facilities.

Acetate Frame Technology plus minus

Classic, hand-tooled in Italy - acetate has been the go-to for the fashion world because the material is so elegant and smooth, and the colors are rich and deep. We don't use acetate for our sports frames or flying frames because there are limitations to the design. We use acetate when we want something beautiful and luxurious and when the design is all about perfect fit and style. When we combine acetate with our performance lenses - bingo, fashion meets function, and even the Kardashians are saying, wow, we should try that.
